Koser Khan is a Senior Research Associate based at Lancaster University. She is a qualitative researcher with a background in Public Health and extensive experience working in the NHS and local authorities, supporting evaluation, engagement, and service improvement. Her research focuses on health inequalities, the wider determinants of health, and improving health outcomes, with a particular interest in how local communities can shape, co-produce, and influence research and service delivery.
She has contributed to and led a range of qualitative research and evaluation projects, including research on neighbourhood resilience using systems approaches, social prescribing, food insecurity and evaluations of interventions such as Health Trainers, Exercise referral and fuel poverty support.
Koser has substantial experience working with communities and engaging diverse stakeholders across local authorities, the NHS, and the VCFSE sector. She also holds a research inclusion role within ARC NWC supporting activities that promote inclusive research practice.
