We are inviting all of our partners / public contributors to our ARCFEST & Launch of ARC NWC 2 event on Tuesday 28th April at Blackpool Football Club.
The hybrid event will bring together researchers, health and care professionals, public advisors, voluntary sector partners and system leaders from across the region.
Throughout the day, we will introduce our ARC 2 themes and outline how the programme will work collaboratively to address health inequalities across the North West Coast. You will hear from research theme / workstream leads, learn how the new programme is structured and explore opportunities to get involved in research, implementation and how we ensure public involvement is embedded in what we do. Additionally, research theme / workstream meetings will take place in the afternoon which you are welcome to attend.
The event will include interactive discussions, opportunities for networking, and a dedicated marketplace area where you can connect with teams and partner organisations from across the collaboration.
We realise there are different audiences within the collaboration with competing priorities and that these may change as the ARC NWC develops, but our overall aim is to ensure we are, from the outset, matching member priorities with our themes / workstreams to ensure we are maximising potential for service change and research outputs having a real impact.

As a collaboration ARC NWC staff, partners and public contributors are one entity. That is why we are having these ARCFEST days and the success of these will underpin our outputs and their impact. Please take the opportunity on the day to liaise with each other and ask questions while flagging up your own ideas for collaboration.
