Katharine Abba


Research Associate

Katharine is a Research Associate in Implementation Support in the Department of Health Services Research at University of Liverpool. She has experience of a wide range of research subjects and methods, having started in evaluation of substance misuse prevention projects, moved into public health intelligence within the NHS, then into evidence synthesis for the Cochrane Infectious Diseases Group, and finally into qualitative and mixed-methods research. Katharine’s research interests are in public health and in the more holistic, social sides of medicine. As well as working with MIDAS, she undertakes research around social prescribing.
