My professional background is in mental health and I recently finished my PhD project funded by NIHR CLARHC NWC which focused on mental health and socioeconomic inequalities. I am originally from Greece so perhaps democracy, fairness, and equity are part of my genetic make-up that I can’t escape. Either way, I am excited to be working on the implementation of a strategy that mainstreams equity empowering researchers, institutions, and the public and improving health outcomes for all.
