Spring ARCFEST will be in Liverpool– all you need to know!

The first ARCFEST of 2024 will take place on Tuesday 12th March 2024 at the Liner Hotel in Liverpool.

All member representatives are invited to register to attend our next ARCFEST in Liverpool on Tuesday 12th March 2024. This will include a marketplace to collaborate, network and engage. The following three tailored sessions will feature:
Joining the dots by delivering a system wide approach for Children at Risk – to facilitate collaboration and sharing of knowledge for Children at Risk including ICB regional strategies, current research to reduce risks/inequalities and practical insights into current initiatives. It will also encompass developing ideas to go forward to a new Research Development Network (RDN) for Children at Risk across the region. If you have any ideas you would like developing this area please get involved by proposing it for our table top exercise during the session via arcnwc@liverpool.ac.uk

Public Involvement & Engagement in Action Leading by example – how public advisers are working across the collaboration on projects to improve health equity and applied health research through the voice of the population. Examples, best practice and areas where we can enhance delivery further will all feature in tabletop exercises and panel-led discussion.

Social care research capacity building programme – ARC NWC has been awarded £260k funding to support social care research and implementation, underpinned by support capacity across relevant members of the collaboration. We will be launching details of this new initiative and are keen to hear from members, staff, and public advisers on identifying opportunities where we can maximise the benefits of investment for our local workforce.
For March’s ARCFEST, members located across Merseyside are welcome to have a stall to promote their own Research and Development activities. Please consult with your link member of staff at ARC NWC or email your interest to arcnwc@liverpool.ac.uk
