IMPaCT has a new Capacity Delivery Lead!
ALISON MCLOUGHLIN- RESEARCH FELLOW/ CAPACITY DELIVERY LEAD IMPLEMENTATION AND CAPACITY BUILDING TEAM (IMPACT)
Alison is a previous CHLARC intern who has just completed an NIHR Doctoral Research Fellowship and submitted her PhD entitled (Standardised Neurological OBservation Schedule for Stroke (SNOBSS). She is a nurse by background and is passionate about applied health research and reducing inequalities in health and social care outcomes. She has experience in clinical and academic research as well as capacity building with previous roles across UCLan and Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Part of her new role involves taking over from George Georgiou and getting stuck into the capacity-building aspects of the ARC NWC. She is looking forward to engaging with stakeholders from across the ARC NWC in order to increase research capacity and capability within and between member organisations. Alison will be the key contact for any internship enquires and is looking forward to supporting candidates to achieve success with these amazing opportunities.
Her role within the IMPaCT team will also see her supporting applied health research projects and the Mental Health RoundTable.
