Focus on Research and Equity Seminar
This is a short seminar enabling attendees to understand the key terminology around health equity and intersectionality and the role of an equity lens in research.
Focus on Research and Equity Workshop
This can be delivered as a half or full day interactive workshop. It starts with an introduction of the key concepts and ideas related to health equity and intersectionality. It then allows participants to explore themselves the importance of an equity lens both in methodology and in research teams, before introducing them to the FOR Equity webresource.
HIAT Clinic
The HIAT clinics are addressed to those who aim to or have already used the Health Inequalities Assessment Toolkit (HIAT). It exposes attendees to HIATs of different projects and allows them to receive feedback on their own work.
HIAT Q&A session
This session is relevant to those conducting research and using the Health Inequalities Assessment Toolkit, who don’t require further intensive training but where queries have been raised along the way. This can be offered independently or as a follow up to a HIAT Clinic.
