Using machine learning to create living evidence maps of what works to address inequalities?

Join us in this webinar to learn about how the Health Equity Evidence Centre is using innovative machine learning technology to map what works to address health and care inequalities and use these living evidence maps to produce evidence briefs for policy makers and practitioners. The webinar will give an overview of the need for machine learning, a non-experts’ guide to machine learning for evidence synthesis and a demonstration of the living evidence maps.

The webinar will be of interest to researchers, policy makers and practitioners based in universities, local authorities, the NHS and public health bodies.

Chair: Dr Katerina Panagaki, Lancaster University and Lead for Health Equity Mainstreaming at NIHR ARC NWC.

Speaker: Dr John Ford is an academic public health doctor and Director of the Health Equity Evidence Centre hosted by Queen Mary University of London. He is a Senior Clinical Lecturer in Health Equity at the Wolfson Institute for Population Health and a Consultant in Public Health at NHS England.
