Born in Wigan but now living in St Helens with my husband.
I worked for 25 years as a Senior Business Analyst in the Financial Services industry in Manchester and Liverpool. My current job is CEO of The Lewy Body Society which is a national dementia charity.
I was a carer for my father who lived with Lewy body dementia and my mother who lived with Epilepsy, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibrosis of the Lungs.
I have been a Public Advisor since 2021 and a Research Champion for Join Dementia Research in Greater Manchester since 2016.
