NIHR pre-doctoral Fellowship Programme Workshop 4 March 2021

A free to attend, lunch time session, hosted by NIHR Applied Research Collaboration North West Coast in partnership with NIHR Clinical Research Network NWC, NIHR CRN, Greater Manchester and Research Design Service North West.

Who should attend:

This event is open to UK-based researchers and practitioners who are new to research and working in a Local
Authority or a non-profit organisation that provides services on behalf of a Local Authority.

We are especially keen to attract those who wish to combine their practice with the pursuit of a research career, have an idea for a project and have experience of delivering a project and working with service users.

What is the NIHR pre-doctoral Fellowship Programme?

The programme supports careers that combine professional practice in Local Authority settings with research and
research leadership.

The programme builds capacity to generate and support research that will help tackle the complex health and care challenges of the future.

The programme covers salary costs whilst undertaking Masters level training and developing an application for a PhD fellowship.
